The Dominican Women’s Development Center (El Centro) Gala Benefit Committee cordially invites you to be part of our 20th Anniversary Gala Dinner October 17, 2008 at Cipriani 23rd from 6 to midnight.  With the theme of “20 Years of Breaking Barriers”, El Centro, wants to recognize women in all different professions and industries and those who are actively involved in the community.

 

For 19 years El Centro has been providing innovative, holistic, quality and meaningful services to empower women on the issues that most impact the formations of strong family and community networks.  Rooted in the commitment to cultivate every woman to be self-sufficient, empowered caregivers and to actively participate in the community around issues that affect us most, El Centro has evolved from its humble beginnings as an English/Spanish literacy program to a full-fledged multi-service agency.
