Health Program

Latinas: Let’s Get Real! is a health promotion program that is partnered with Uptown Health Link. It focuses on HIV prevention and sex education for young women encouraging them to become health promoters or "Promotoras." Our services include:

• Healthy sexuality workshops
• Support groups
• Condom distribution
• Social Events
• Advocacy

The program also works with local business (barber shops, beauty salons, bars, bodegas, supermarkets, cab companies, boutiques, Laundromats, and others) as collaborators in the community efforts against HIV by distributing condom and educational literature.
