Preventive Services
Rising Families is our new preventive program funded primarily through the Administration for Children's Services. Rising Families provides support to families in the Washington Heights/Inwood area. Through a combination of case management, counseling and referral services, Rising Families aims to keep families together.

We strive to provide a full range of services designed to meet the needs of our participants. We aim to strengthen families, promote optimal health, and reduce the number of placements of children into foster care.

Who Is Eligible?

Families who have at least one child younger than 18 years of age. Rising Families welcomes families at risk for, or with a history of child abuse or neglect, domestic violence and children/adolescents with behavioral problems.

How Can We Help?

Using a holistic approach, our team of dedicated case planners will work on an ongoing basis with the family unit, to assess needs, provide counseling and establish the necessary linkages with partner organizations that also provide direct services.
