Job Summary:
The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the administration, programs and strategic plan of the organization. Other key duties include fundraising, marketing, and community outreach. The position reports directly to the Board of Directors.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree on a relevant area or Bachelor of Arts degree plus 2 years’ experience in running agencies or in working with Dominican and/or Latina women; ability to conceptualize and develop programs; supervisory experience knowledge in the areas of early childhood, educational development, and job development. This job requires strong identification to the DWDC’s Mission and Principles and the active participation in DWDC’s sponsored activities related to cultural, social and community issues.
